Hot Wheels Premium Marvel Deadpool Scooter Mattel Metal Real Riders
 
The Deadpool Scooter is intended to replicate the scooter used by Wade Wilson in the various Deadpool comics; in the movies the scooter is portrayed by a Vespa Primavera.
The initial version of the casting features a figure of Deadpool riding the scooter with a party hat and various presents up the rear of the scooter; Deadpool is shown eating a cup cake rather messily with pink frosting all over his mask. This casting is not based on any particular scene in any Deadpool comic or film.
According to the designer of the casting Chris Colangelo, this was one of his favorite SDCC projects to date. Packaging design was done by Matt Gabe; various concept designs for the packaging showed Deadpool riding through a large half-eaten "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" cake messing up the icing, a large party-popper style packaging and a platform with Deadpool riding on a cake. What was ultimately chosen was a pink box from "Deadpool's Decadent Desserts" in less than pristine condition, with fold lines, grease spots, cake icing and blood splatters all around; inside the package is a fake plastic molded cupcake with Deadpool riding on it. This box would be contained inside another box depicting that of hastily-wrapped wrapping paper with crease lines, tape and torn sheets. Graphics were done by Mario Godoy.
